Propane Services Serving Western Pennsylvania
Propane is a clean-burning, efficient fuel alternative – a good choice both economically and environmentally, listed as a clean fuel in the Clean Air Act of 1990 and the Energy Policy Act of 1992. Residential users of propane may make this choice or switch in order to save money on their electric bills (propane can heat a hot water tank twice as fast as an electric-powered hot water tank), for its extremely low carbon footprint, and for its reliability to work on site – without relying on the “grid.”
Greco Gas operates a fleet of Bulk Propane bobtails to supply residential and commercial customers throughout Western Pennsylvania and the greater Pittsburgh area. Plus, we are backed with the expertise and guidance that helps our customers make the best choices about the many benefits propane provides while managing it safely. We deliver and install tanks ranging in size from 100 to 1000 gallons.
At Home
Propane is safe and easy to use. Homeowners enjoy its convenience and cost efficiency, and commercial and industrial customers appreciate the flexibility and independence from electric sources. This aspect also promotes a great solution for remotely located homes and businesses; smart planning and selection of propane-powered equipment, heaters and appliances bring a “plug and play” approach to living and working in rural areas. At Work and On the Farm
Propane is known as a “domestic fuel” – that is, 97% of propane consumed in the United Stated is produced here in North America and helps to diversify our nation’s reliance on imported oil. The U.S. Department of Energy has promoted the use of propane to fuel light-, medium- and heavy-duty vehicles as part of its energy security initiatives.
